This is the view from my back deck today.
Yesterday afternoon it was shirtsleeve weather here in Cincinnati. I was starting to make concrete plans for getting my spring yard work done.
Then just after dark, a front came in, bringing much colder temperatures and some light snow.
Mid-March is usually the time when we say goodbye to winter in Southern Ohio. By St. Patrick’s Day, winter is pretty much a done deal in this part of the world.
Although this has not been a bad winter by Ohio standards, I’m ready for it to end. Hopefully this was winter’s last hurrah for another year.
