I’m old enough to recall when the microwave oven was relatively cutting-edge technology. Yes, really.
My parents purchased our first microwave oven in 1978. We actually attended a course on how to use the thing.
Before microwaveable meals became the norm, however, the Swanson TV dinner was the go-to convenience food for most suburban mothers.
Very few of these dinners were truly edible….let alone palatable.
The only redeeming aspect of the Swanson’s TV dinners were the desserts…which were, well…not bad. Sometimes.
I was especially partial to the fudge brownie.
